Abstract of Title
The county recorder creates abstracts that contain the history of property ownership by providing a true chain of title by geographical location. They contain the date and character of instrument, book and page number where instrument was recorded, entry number of instrument, and legal description.
Annual Financial Report
These are statistical reports on the financial affairs of the entire county or a specific department. These reports usually include a statement on the value of all county owned property, and an accounting of all income and expenditures in relationship to the final budget.
Davis County Aerial Photos
Cartographic records which contain the officially designated record copy of maps created by an agency. These records document unique cartographic information about the state of Utah. They may include maps, charts, geospatial data sets , aerial photographs, globes, models, and raised relief maps. These are a graphic representation of the earth's surface drawn to scale.
Davis County Building Plans
Davis County Public Building Plans. This collection includes as-built construction plans and specifications which are final plans and specifications for approved and constructed buildings, facilities, monuments, roads, and bridges. Plans document construction of new buildings or facilities as well as renovation of owned buildings and rented buildings.

Field books
These books contain the original survey notes and measurements by surveyors. They are used to create maps and diagrams for specific projects and to update reference sheets. They include township, section, range, survey measurements, elevations, and grade with some sketches of area and notes regarding the project.
Land Adjudication Records
Undated adjudication of land books within Davis county. The first book contains plat maps for Bountiful, Farmington, and Kaysville townsites showing section, block and lot numbers, adjudication number, and owner's name. The second book is an index with adjudication number, owner's name, townsite entry, lot or lot portion, block number, plat, and legal description.

Property ownership plat maps
These are plat maps showing property ownership and property lines for real estate within the county. The county recorder "shall prepare and keep present-ownership maps and plats drawn to a convenient scale, which shall at all times show the record owners of each tract of land in the county, together with a description of the tract" (UCA 17-21-21 (1995)).
